The parties agree which mediator to use.

The mediator is instructed and the mediation date and venue are agreed. One firm will usually offer rooms to save on costs.

The mediator sends out the Agreement to Mediate (the mediation contract ) and invoices for his/her fees for payment in advance. Read more ...

The mediator calls each side's solicitors for a confidential discussion about the case.
